Important Submission Deadlines:
March 12, 2027 – Deadline for all clients who did not file a 2025 tax return with MPTC, both in person and online. (A non-refundable $200 deposit is required and will be applied to your final invoice.)
March 20, 2027 – Our submission deadline to guarantee our office will have the return completed by April 15, 2027. This deadline applies to documents received via Hightail, email, mail, or fax by 11:59 pm EST or dropped off in Brooklyn by 2:00 pm. Please note that documents received close to this deadline may take up to April 15, 2027 to complete.
March 21, 2027 – Deadline for NJ drop-offs ONLY by 5:00 pm. Please note that documents received close to this deadline may take up to April 15, 2027 to complete.
April 09, 2027 – Deadline to request an extension through our office. The fee for the extension is $50. Extensions must be requested via email by sending a copy of our extension organizer, which can be found on our website. The extension is an EXTENSION TO FILE, NOT AN EXTENSION TO PAY. You are still required to pay 90% of your tax liability by April 15, 2027.
Any documents received after our submission deadlines will need to go on extension and will be completed after April 15, 2027.
We are still accepting paperwork through fax, email, drop-off, mail (please send copies), or uploaded through our website if you wish to stay remote this year. For remotely submitted documents, please include a filled-out copy of our client organizer. You will be able to sign the electronic file authorizations through email again this year. Please be aware that documents received in February have a 1–3-day turnaround. Documents received in early March have a 2-3 week turnaround documents recieved close to the submittion of March 20, 2027 cound have a turnaround time of the April 15th deadline.
We offer a card price (which is our regular price), and we offer a discount on transactions paid with cash, checks, and Zelle.
